So since this is the election year I decided that my first blog should be on a topic related to the election. The article is titled Obama slams rival on middle class and you can access it on http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26918645/ . So basically the article is breaking down sen. Obama on the campus of the university of Washington Maryland. Where he was talking to people who were more towered the republic side about how sen. McCain didn’t really speak too much or even at all about the middle class so say this was a quick advantage but who is to know if it really worked. But while he was out there doing this sen. McCain was in Washington Stabilizing some U.S. Financial Markets. Obama also stated that it didn’t take a Wall Street eye opener for him to realize the people were hurting.
I really don't think this story was bias it just shows each sen. way of how he would handle America if they won. I think it is missing how sen. McCain Responded to this blow his opponent threw his way. I really don't have a strong opinion just maybe they shouldn't focus so much on blowing each other out the water and more on the true goal to help America in its time of vulnerability. The story is important because its part of our presidential election. It affects me because I want my vote to be toward the best candidate to help me and my future. The only Question when are we going to get down to more topics each candidate has a lapse over.

I find this interesting: you are not the first to respond to this article and not find it biased. However, I wonder if even the selection of the topic is biased. It's a story centered on criticisms Obama has of McCain. Does that automatically make it biased in Obama's favor?
I agree with you. The candidates (and the media's coverage of them) seem to be focusing on pointing out each other's inconsistencies instead of truly discussing their plans for the "change" they both keep talking about.
Nice response.
that was a good point from obama to mccaine.. ouch
