This weeks current event that I chose is on Iraq's Cabinet voting on U.S. security Pact which would keep the U.S. forces in the country for another three years to read more go on http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27731322/. Iraq's Cabinet will vote Sunday on a security pact with Washington that would keep U.S. forces in the country for another three years, a major step in efforts to balance Iraqi demands for national sovereignty. Because on December 31 the U.N. mandate covering the presence of U.S. and other foreign forces in Iraq expires. Also a failure to pass the agreement would leave Iraq with little choice but to seek a renewal of the mandate. Two Cabinet ministers said Iraqi and U.S. negotiators have agreed on a final draft of the security pact with the United States and it looks like a good chance on the voting tomorrow.
I personally don't think it was bias because its kind of telling a story and about how votes can go. For the most part a lot to all the information is here. Mt opinion is that we should try and help as much as we can but be able to bring and send soldiers out more efficiently then we are doing but then again i really don't know what to think. My question is whats going to happen will the out come be good. This effects me and is important to me because i live in this country.
